Celebrating the 42nd Anniversary of the original trade show, Robyn Bonaquist has been named the 2021 Southeast Building Conference (SEBC) Chair. Hosted by the Florida Home Builders Association, SEBC is the largest building industry trade show in the southeast and will be held on July 15-16 in Kissimmee, Florida.
“When we made the decision to cancel the SEBC Show in 2020 due to the pandemic, everyone set their sights on making 2021 spectacular,” said Bonaquist, who served on the SEBC Board in 2020. “A robust Builder Exchange program, educational track and visit from Governor DeSantis should make this year’s event a must-see for all attendees.”
The 2021 Southeast Building Conference is attended by builders, remodelers, general contractors, building code officials, developers, architects, trades professionals and interior designers from across the region. Attendees can look forward to an educational weekend coupled with networking events, expositions and special events like the renowned Aurora Awards.
Bonaquist is known in Southwest Florida for being the President and Founder of B-Squared Advertising. Celebrating 20 years of outstanding service in July, B-Squared has been recognized nationwide for its award-winning creative abilities and sound marketing strategies, collectively earning more than 450 state, local and national awards for excellence in the field. Most recently, B-Squared’s creative campaign for the luxury high-rise community of Kalea Bay, was honored with two National awards sponsored by the National Sales & Marketing Council of the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB).
In terms of personal awards, Bonaquist was named by the Florida Home Builders Association as the 2020 Associate of the Year. The award is presented to an individual that encourages expertise in their industry and has outstanding leadership qualities. The Associate of the Year is the highest state honor an associate member can receive from the association.
Bonaquist has 35 years of experience in advertising and marketing in the Southwest Florida marketplace and has helped shape the success of many notable real estate developments throughout the state and beyond.
